March Madness

Well, peeps it has been quite a while since I last blogged but I have been busier than I thought so I haven't really had time to get on here for long periods of a time. The gripe I have on the best time of college basketball is the play-in game that they have. I love March Madness because you can count on many occasions that the underdog wins. No matter how big you might think your particular school may be the one that always gets them are the perennial small schools. I love it! Anyways, back to my gripe of the play-in game. Here we have 2 teams that are trying to get into the 64 team field. The question that I have is why have 2 teams that won their conference championship play in this game, they have already qualified in my personal opinion. Why not have 2 of the at-large bids play in this game to see who gets into the field? I'm just saying!!!! Booyah!!!! Well, I guess that is it for now.....Stay tuned to see what I might have to say next......Enjoy the games.......Tommy

Google Voice

I have now added a new feature on this blog. It is pretty amazing of what we can do nowadays in this new age technology era that we live in. Now, if you need to get in touch with me you can now click on the widget that I have set up called google voice. Click on it and type in your number and you will connected to me in just a few short seconds. It truly is amazing. I love working with all these new gadgets to help make our life so much easier. I have been enjoying a little down time since, football and basketball are now over. It actually feels good to not have to rush here and there and everywhere, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. Time really does fly by and I had better enjoy it because before I know it I will not have the kids around to take here or there. They will not even want mom and dad around. Oh wait, that is already happening. My bad! I hope to keep getting some pictures scanned on to my pc. I am trying to scan all the old photos that I have and put them on my pc. That way I can always have them and not worry about losing them in case something happens. Well, I guess that is it for now so until next time so stay tuned to see what might happen next......

1st blog of year

Well, another year has been here and passed. It is truly amazing how fast time goes by anymore. I have been behind on trying to blog but now that I have my internet on at home I can keep it going a little better. A new year is here and it will fly by just as all the others have. I have learned over the last few years to just enjoy the time that we do have because you never know when the Lord may call you home. Another topic of interest is UT football and what has transpired this week. I thought when we hired Lane Kiffin we was really going to go somewhere. Boy, was I ever wrong!!! I think if he would have stayed we would have been buried under so many NCAA sanctions he would have eventually buried our program. So goodbye and good riddance Mr. Kiffin!!!!! Now on to our new coach, I really don't know very much of the man but I do know this I will support the man as he leads our Vols into the future. I will start supporting him just as I did the before said. I do know this much he comes from a good bloodline so there is hope my fellow big orange nation. Hopefully, he will stay around awhile and lead us to many victories and national championships.
Also, my great nephew celebrated his very first birthday on the 9th. Happy Birthday Gabe from your Uncle Tom I love you bunches.......
Well, I guess that is it for now so stay tuned to see what might be up next........
